I've seen steelies bent back and used after that but not sure it's possible with alloy, they tend to develop tiny fractures when they get damaged which can make them hard to repair. Hopefully someone knows how to sort it though.

Sorry to hear that. Pot holes are definitely the worst.

That is actually really terrifying. Not in the "I fear for the driver's safety" way but in a weird "I can't look at this before going to bed" way.

It snowed a few days ago. They are pretty worn down so I am just running them for another month or so wearing them down some more before I chuck them

There's been a tiny bear leaving adorable footprints on your winter tires. Also, any decent alloy wheel repair company should be able to fix that bent wheel. I had one repaired like that a few years ago. Cost about $100.00 to make it right.

That doesn't look to awful bad, but being an alloy it might crack when bending it back.

Use a rubber deadblow hammer and try carefully banging it back into shape, nothing ventured nothing gained as they say.

P.S. Not sure of your state laws, but municipalities in my area (MO) will sometimes pay for damage caused by potholes, it sure won't hurt to try to make a claim after you get some prices.

haha yeah those little bears are all over. I will have to inspect it more after work. The wheel and tire was only 100 so I might just try to replace it

I will try it for sure. Not sure of the laws on that here in Utah. I'm also not sure if it was more of a pothole or a foot drop on the side of the road. I was going to turn right at the off ramp and was getting around he line going left

I was scrolling through Oppo and was like "those look like 2000-2001 2.5RS six-spokes resprayed gold."

Being a car person does weird things to your brain.

That probably qualifies as a pothole as well. It shouldn't be there for sure. Good luck!
